I ran away from a "real" job to join the Park Service and get paid in sunsets.
My first park house was 90 years old, and "furnished" did not mean it had plates.
Unless you know someone who's been there, it's hard to know what you're in for.
That's why I made this site... So we can all know someone on the inside.
And we can all be an insider to someone else.
This is a site for rangers, by rangers.
It's purposefully open - no need to register if you don't want to. But you'll need
to "prove" your ranger skills with a simple password because the entirely open
forum became too attractive to Russian spammers. I don't spam you or sell your
info if you register, I only manage the site as a service to other rangers.
Every spring, thousands of us march off to live and work in one of America's
treasures. My goal is to help inform you of what you're marching towards.
